Artist's Comments

Well, this is the same Elise (Old?) model I was working on, only I redid it. I didn't know you could use hypernurbes on a 2d
point-to-point plane like this :/
So on my first attempt I tried to make the curves as smooth as possible without the nurbes.

Guides were a pain in my ass to align. Just editing them with photoshop or paint alone won't work, cuz' the front and back images want to be bigger then the others so it throws everything out of whack.

Anyways, I'm feeling a little proud of this piece, but it's not without it's errors. I like the way the oh so useless air intakes came out, but in a leap of exploration I made them a totally different object, so I can't bridge the gap between them and the hood... :/
Looks like I'm redoing that part as well.
I'll tell you why the intakes seem so useless when I'm done with this, or if you already know you can go ahead and tell everyone ~^^~

Please rate and comment on my work and progress!

lol man. bit of a funny problem. looks like you'll end up with 289382323 hypernurbs. that's a real issue bro. you may not be able to render the 3 you have the moment. to smooth out your point-to-point hood or whatever else you make. right click on it; then Cinema4d Tags>;Phong - give it a phong tab instead of havin all of those nurbs, which would probably make c4d crash upon rendering. change the phong to about 89*. should be smooth.

Ah, yeah I was thinking about that last night. I'll have to go back in and edit for the 3rd time
So how should I set it up for phong tags? Like how should the model come out before I use it?

Yeah, a bit ~^^~
I've had to put this on hold when the project got glitched from too many sudden shutdowns, and I got a little caught up in something else. ~^//^~
