I managed to watch a little tv after school, and just so happened to catch an episode of 'Science Behind the Movies', Motion Control episode.
There was a part in there talking about the Inferno Compositing Bay being used in movies like '300' and such to add some kickass visual effects. After looking into it just this morning, I realized just how important it would be to have the Autodesk Programs, like Maya and 3ds Max, because they all share Metadata. That means that I can open one file made with one program in another.
The Inferno Compositing Bay looks like a must have, so I'll be seeing about getting that.
Though I'll be learning to model movies and such with the Autodesk programs, I'll still stick with c4d r11 just for fun.
Here's the link for the information on the Inferno Compositing Bay
