Final Cut HD Studio and Inferno Compositing Review

*Scroll down to see reviews.
Just two of the programs that professionals use when editing high quality visual effects.
After seeing just a tiny glimpse of what these programs can do on the new Science Channel T.V. Series 'Science Behind the Movies' (Motion Control Episode), I'm determined to acquire these programs and maybe go into business making films someday. Never thought I would be one to say that, as Video Games have always been my calling.
I'll be making Video Games when I leave the house, but I'll also be making films. It would be good to get some filming experience in to enhance a game, so I feel that I'm on to something here.

-Final Cut Pro 6-
A video editing program like no other, brought to you by Apple. This program includes many features that can't be found in most others, like the ability to create High Definition (HD) Images easily and efficiently.
Another incredible feature that all video editors will love, is it's ability to change frame rates and formats on the fly. This means you can use any format you want at any frame rate and it will still play with HD quality. Your tool selection is expansively huge! Another great plus in this program. Some of the features are Slip-and-Slide clip placement, Transitions between formats and clips, the ability to designate keyboard shortcuts to make editing faster and easier, and much more! Now for really professional designs, such as commercials, they've proudly included template designs! A graphical motion image of sorts that plays over designated clips, just like the popups in those car commercials! Plus, they're completely customizable, or you can make your own. With over 150 transitions and effects, and hundreds more from 3rd party vendors. As well, they've added their own open standard plugin that allows you to change the visuals on your film. So if you want to show a clip in 'Negative' film format, you can now simply drag-and-drop it anywhere into your clip.
Overall, this program is a must have for all video editors, allowing full control over your films with HD quality.

-Inferno Compositing Bay-
Autodesk Inferno is an excellent way to transform your visual masterpieces. From High Speed Compositing to Advanced Graphics, Inferno can do almost anything. Working alongside some of Autodesk's other programs, like Maya and 3ds Max, you can now add stunning visuals with incredibly realistic design. Used in the making of '300' alongside Final Cut HD. Their website can be found here

I don't know much about Inferno Compositing Bay, but I might extend my review on it some other time when I know more.
